Anonymous God -- all-knowing and fatalism 0 Mar 16 2007, 10:00 AM EDT by Anonymous

Thread started: Mar 16 2007, 10:00 AM EDT  Watch
While the Catholic encyclopedia argues against fatalism, predestination and determination, it also states that God is all-knowing.

If God knows all about the past, present and future, then he knows before you are born whether you will go to heaven or hell, and every sin and righteous act you will ever commit.

If that is the case, then there is no free will. If there is no free will, then nothing you ever do or try to do can affect the outcome of your life, which was already determined before your birth.

See: Free Will, Attributes of God, Fatalism, Determinism and Predestination.
