The Tuskegee Experiment is described in three links above, Jeremiah Wright has "almost" described it, though he said they injected people with syphillus. Failing to tell them of a treatment once a treatment became available was just as bad, and resulted in deaths of subjects, and infection of their spouses and children.
Wright said God would condemn a nation that would not obey His will, and that killing innocent people was against God's will. It appears that he had those facts right. They killed innocent American citizens, and the scriptures uphold his statement. We can oppose a person for speaking truthfully, if we believe that sweeping facts under the rug is the proper way to uphold our country. Others believe that the country is cleansed only if we will examine and speak out against its dirt.

Senator: Judge Mukasey, in your opinion, is crucifixion unconstitutional?
Mukasey: Well, senator, if it is found to be torture, it would be unconstitutional, and would be illegal. Senator: So Judge Mukasey, would crucifixion be torture? Mukasey: Senator, I haven't had access to classified information related to that, and I don't know much about crucifixion. I've never witnessed one, and it's my understanding there are more than one kind. With and without scourging, with nails or with ropes, with and without a footrest, with and without leg breaking, on a vertical pole only, and so forth. It would be impossible to make a blanket statement that would cover all types of crucifixion. Senator: Judge Mukasey, that is the most insincere form of rhetoric I have ever heard. Could you just say, yes or no, if the standard crucifixion, with scourging and using nails and a crosspost, is torture? Mukasey: Well, Senator, it's my understanding that the previous A.G., Mr. Gonzalez, has written an official opinion on that. However, it is classified, and I have not been privileged to see it. Senator: Judge Mukasey, are you going to say that if somebody beats you with a whip, nails your hands to a beam, and hangs you up until you die, you don't know if that is torture? Mukasey: There are so many variables involved, Senator, it's hard to say. In an unclassified opinion, Gonzales said that torture would involve tissue destruction and imminent organ failure. So you have to ask, "how much tissue destruction?" Surely an injection involves loss of a few cells, but we woudn't include that. And how imminent? Perhaps simply hanging a person on a cross would not be torture. It's leaving him there for say, 16 hours that would be a problem. And at say, the 16th hour, you're not doing anything to him. You've already gone home. Senator: Oh. Sorry I mentioned it.
